I'm not usually one for pink, but my hyacinths are blooming and I'm so grateful that I haven't killed them that I've decided to write a post they've inspired. And now, after finding these elegant and oh so grown up ways of incorporating pink into my sartorial choices and surroundings, I'm a little obsessed with pink.
Maybe it's the combination of warm blush tones and a clean, classic black and white palette. Maybe it's Audrey Hepburn's obvious approval, or every single thing about that luxurious pink foyer. Maybe it's the satisfyingly thick Vogue tucked into the rosy-hued bag. Whatever it is, I know I need to have that unabashedly bright splash of pink in more than just my hyacinths.
So tell me, though I'm a little late, how was your weekend? And thank you for your really sweet support yesterday — things already seem to be looking up.

Rose-tinted...that's what I like to call my ideals ;) Beautiful set of pics, love!
LOVE the pink room! Usually pink like that on walls kinda makes me want to throw-up but that one is actually done perfectly!

Glad to see it's already going better:) These images are lushious, especially together. I can't deny I LOVE pink. I'm getting more fond of purple these days and and have a revived urge for green too...
I just stumbled upon your blog and I find your writing and pictures to be so lovely. You've also inspired me to pick up a used copy of Entre Nous.
I'm glad you're feeling better. We all have those awful days but go you for reading and cleaning to feel better (mine would be much less productive).
I love pink :o) especially pink flowers. The inside walls of my apartment are the lightest green color and I think that with white and pink accents, everything goes together so cleanly! I'm really enjoying reading your blog... the picture with the bag/vogue/white sunglasses is just perfect!
This color is SCREAMING spring - could it come please? Hoping to add this into my wardrobe this season!
I've fallen in love with that paint color :-)
another reason why we're friends: I'm not a big pink girl either...but I did love these photos! I also adore hyacinths. We can't have live plants because of Lucy + Gus...they like the taste of them. sigh.
so so happy your week is looking up! I know it's only going to keep heading in that direction! xoxo {av}
