Ah la la, I know I say I'm in Chicago, but I think it's clear that my mind is wandering through Europe in a trench, with an espresso in one hand and and an pretty umbrella in the other. Fortunately, I don't have class today, so I can think about all of the things I'd like to be doing (shopping in the markets in Florence, eating a croissant with turkey and Havarti, sitting on a warm bench in the sun) while I'm avoiding all of the French homework I didn't do this weekend. But let me live vicariously — did you do anything lovely this weekend?

It was a lovely and relaxing weekend, but I didn't do my French homework either! Now I'll have to do it quickly before my lesson this afternoon :-(

oh gosh, Julia Roberts is SO beautiful! Did a little bit of everything this weekend. Snuggled with our puppy, went out for yummy meals, went to a basketball game... It was a nice long weekend :)
