I just made some noises that, unfortunately, sounded like a series of yelps. Northwestern has cancelled classes for the first time since my dad was a senior here in 1979. (See, I'm not a genius — I'm just legacy!). He probably spent his snow day designing biomedical devices and working out calculus problems for fun. Do you know what I'm going to do with my snow day?
1. Not my French homework.
2. Cook bacon.
3. Eat bacon.
4. Think about how much I love raspberry jam, too. Not just bacon.
5. Dream up the greatest idea ever: bakeries that deliver pastries to my front door.
6. Homework? What's homework?
7. Go back to bed.
Are you getting sick of my lists? I swear I'll stop once I get it out of my system, around the same time I turn thirty-eight. I hope that if you've been caught in the thundersnow, you stay safe and, hopefully, get the same luxury as myself!

I'm almost jealous of all of you guys over in the midwest and northeast! Being in Phoenix, AZ, I've never experienced a snow day... now THAT would be crazy. I've always argued they should have "heat" days... like when it gets to nearly 120 degrees and it's practically a death sentence to even be outdoors for 5 minutes! :) Anyways, I hope you're safe over there, though! & glad you enjoyed what sounds like a relaxing day. :)
I am definitely not sick of your lists. I did the same thing on my Snopocalypse post! I also included pictures! Did you take any pictures from where you're at?? I swear it's mostly blowing, but it still seems to be coming down.
Also, I'm a Purdue Alum, and I have to say I was very disappointed that the school canceled classes for the 3rd time in 35 years (1977, 2007, today).... wimps ;)I was a legacy there too! What are you studying at NU?

We had 14 inches yesterday. Everything is closed. It's truly amazing. I am jealous of your snow day list. Sounds divine.
