Here's a color combination that I absolutely adore in theory, but am far too nervous to try in real life: all shades of purple (from violet to grape to a pale, almost periwinkle hue) with orange. I have a pretty Emilio Pucci scarf with both colors, but I feel like that's cheating because... it's Emilio Pucci. He could have taken a color wheel, smashed it to bits, melted it, and still have come up with a gorgeous pattern. But tell me, what are your thoughts about mixing up color? Are you feeling the purple and orange?

I love that image of Blair and Serena. It screams Spring!
A purple and orange combo is actually quite high on my radar (the purple from Freja's shoe), I LOVE it and totally fell for it after I made the Color Block collage. I have to find and outfit in this colors. It's bright, interesting and happy. Love these images. Would love to see that scarf too;)
im not a huge orange fan... but i do love that purple dress! so pretty. xoxo jcd :: cornflake dreams
I'm the exact same way. I love colors (especially that picture from Gossip Girl) but my closet is all grays and blacks. I think it's just easier to have neutrals since I want to have a small closet. But my accessories on the other hand, colors that pop!
I think that's an awesome color combination. It is bold and it will be such a huge statement. Go for it. I think Chiarra from the Blonde Salad had an outfit post a few days ago wearing purple and orange and it was so cool. Check it out.
P.S. Can you please email me. I need to ask you something and I cannot see your email on your blog. Thanks and have a wonderful day!
