April has kicked off on the dreary side, but I'm so excited to wear my navy Hunter rainboots and splash around in puddles. I had a weekend full of late-night dancing, catching up with good friends, and reading Jhumpa Lahiri's short stories (Interpreter of Maladies

I recently saw such an umbrella, I want one of those! (then why didn't I buy it, right;)? Your weekend and plans for this week sound great. I'm hoping to take a lot of photographs this week and enjoy a few moment in Spring sun:)
I have so many short story books on my shelves (I even took a course in writing the short story a couple of years ago), but I always struggle to read them - as soon as I get into them, they're over!
